Abstract
The present investigation was carried out for the d etermination of genetic conformity of micropropagat ed plants of Zingiber officinale cv Majhauley using Random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) techn ique.

.Total fifteen different arbitrary decamers were used as primers to amplify DNA from in vitro plant material to assess the genetic fidelity of 1 8 months old in vitro cultured plantlets.
