Abstract
The present study was carried out to evaluate the in vitro antioxidant activities of Methanol extract of Dolichos biflorus dal ( (DME) ) commonly edible food from central Himalayans .

This was achieved by screening of the plant extracts at vary ing concentrations (20-200µg/ml), using 2,2-dipheny l-1-picryl- hydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging activity, reduci ng power assay and hydrogen peroxide radical scaven ging activity.
